I love getting headaches, skipping meals, getting little to no sleep and not being able to see my family on holidays.
Those are the main reasons why I enjoy being a TV news ANCHOR AND reporter, but I guess my love for news and storytelling are other (less sarcastic) factors that play into that.
Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Patrick Lloyd. I’m an anchor/mmj for wmbf news in myrtle beach, sc. I graduated from the university of north florida in jacksonville, fla. in april 2017.
i anchor the weekend evening newscasts at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.
i got my first job in news at first coast news (wtlv/wjxx) in jacksonville in the summer of 2015 as i was finishing up my sophomore year. i started as a part time editor and worked my way up to full time editor/photographer. i left first coast news may 2017.
during my first two years in college, i worked for spinnaker media, unf's on-campus media outlet, as the news director for spinnaker tv and as the police reporter for spinnaker digital.
